Welcome to the ranch
A 1960s farmhouse on real working land
Come out to Hamilton County, home of Hamilton, the Dove Capital of Texas. StarHorn Ranch is a single-level 1960s farmhouse on about 31 acres near Aleman, halfway between Austin and Dallas–Fort Worth. It's still working land: Guerra Bees keeps an active bee operation here, and the pasture produces hay.
Inside you'll find a Star Wars-themed bunk room, a framed Texas map over a blue dining table, a fish-chart print, and a shower curtain starring a singing bear. Outside there's a fire pit, a grill, a skeet area, ATVs, and a whole lot of sky.
We welcome dogs and horse trailers. We welcome Star Wars fans and Longhorn fans (Hook 'em!). We'll even let Aggies stay, and we always love our Red Raider friends.

We're building a courtyard out back: a reclaimed-limestone cookhouse with an outdoor kitchen, and a 10-foot galvanized stock tank pool. These are early design concepts. The finished spaces will look different, and they aren't open to guests yet.

Good to know
House Rules
- Maximum of 6 guests. Small gatherings are fine within that limit.
- Pets are considered with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Let us know when you book.
- Smoking outside only. No smoking inside the house.
- No unattended candles.
- Be a good neighbor. There are no set quiet hours out here, but please be considerate of the neighbors.
- Fire pit: make sure the fire is fully out before you leave it, and follow any county burn bans.
- Trash: bag it and leave it by the back door, or put it in the cinder block building west of the house. There are no outdoor bins.
- Echo: ask it anything, but please don't unplug, move, or change its settings.
- Arrival details, including the address and entry instructions, are sent once your stay is confirmed.

StarHorn Ranch sits out in the Central Texas countryside near Aleman, in Hamilton County. The town of Hamilton, the county seat and the Dove Capital of Texas, is close by. It's an easy getaway from Austin or the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and far enough out to leave the city behind.
Spend the day out on the land, then come back to wide-open skies, quiet nights, and more stars than you can count.

How do I book?
Book on Airbnb, or use the form below to send Trey your dates and he'll reply personally.
How does check-in work?
It's self check-in, any time after 3:00 PM. Checkout is 11:00 AM. Entry instructions and the address are sent once your stay is confirmed.
Can I bring my pets?
Pets are considered. Let us know about them when you book. There's a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Horse trailers are welcome too.
Is there Wi-Fi and EV charging?
Yes. The house has Starlink Wi-Fi, and there's a Tesla charger on site.
How do the lights and thermostat work?
Just talk to the Echo in the house. It controls the thermostat and the outside lights, so there's no app to download.
Can I smoke?
Outside only, please. No smoking inside the house.
Where does the trash go?
Bag it and leave it by the back door, or put it in the cinder block building west of the house. There are no outdoor bins.
Are the pool and outdoor kitchen open?
Not yet. The courtyard, cookhouse, and stock tank pool are still in the works. See Coming Soon.
